About Me
I was born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina. I had orginally wanted to be a lawyer,
but as I was touring colleges I discovered the field of communications, and from there
my passion for filmmaking was created. I decided to test this new interest by attending
UNC School of the Arts Summer Film Intensive in 2022. After that five-week experience,
I knew that this is what I wanted to devote my career to.
Since then, I have worked on over 40 sets, spanning from narrative short films to live
performances. I wanted to test every position to see which one suited me best. After I
gained more experience in assistant directing, I realized I love the organization and
structure that is required for making a film. Being able to utilize quick problem solving
and creativity was a perfect stimulation for my mind.
My education at Elon University has given me surplus of opportunities such as:
attending Sundance Film Festival 2025, studying abroad at FAMU International in Prague,
working at WSOE 89.3 as their production director and at the school's professional
equipment rental facility, The Gear Room, and, in the upcoming Spring, serving as
President for Cinelon, Elon's own film production company.
My goal is to become a line producer for feature length films. I hope to take my
knowledge and experience of short film production and upscale that.
